Since the eighties the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico, has increased its economic
growth, which has been based on rapid industrialization as a result of an increasing
economic globalization, which has affected more economic activity (production,
employment, income, trade, etc.). In this work, we will analize the public policies that
made this economic growth will be discussed namely: industrial decentralization,
attracting investment, facilities for corporate relocation, infrastructure and equipment and
It also seeks to check that increases in welfare and income levels, have not kept up
with increases in production, accentuating the distributive inequality and deteriorating
levels being raised in the globalization model.
